Committee on Public Finance (COPF) Chairman Dr. Harsha de Silva says Sri Lanka has recorded approximately US$827 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) so far in 2025, according to the Board of Investment (BOI). However, he cautioned that a significant portion of the reported figure consists of previous commitments and internal rollovers, rather than fresh equity inflows.
