The organisers of the Galle Literary Festival have announced that the 2026 edition of the event will be postponed. In a statement, they said the decision was made to allow time to review and strengthen the festival’s organisational structure and to secure a sustainable path forward. “We know this isn’t the news many were hoping for, and trust us, we feel the same,” the statement read.
