Sri Lanka is set to sign five-year memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with four foreign institutions across in China, India and Japan in a bid to boost the internationalization of its higher education sector. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the proposal by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, in her capacity as Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Professional Education, to enhance global academic cooperation.
