ECONOMYNEXT – Foreign investment in Sri Lanka government securities reached its highest in almost two year as offshore investors continued to buy the island nation’s bonds in the last nine weeks, the Central Bank data showed. Foreign holdings in Sri Lanka’s treasury bonds reached 130.96 billion rupees (USD 436.6 million at 1$=300 rupees) as of October 23, its highest since November 16, 2023, the latest Central Bank data showed.
