Jayasanka Sadun Jayasuriya, the first Sri Lankan student delegate to participate in the Youth Address at the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30) in Belém, Brazil, met with Environment Minister Dr. Dammika Pattabendi on Nov. 19. A student of Environmental Management Studies at Rajarata University, Jayasuriya was recognized by the minister for his international representation and contributions to climate change research.
