The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) reports that 39 disaster‑related deaths have occurred so far due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions in Sri Lanka. Seventy‑nine Divisional Secretariat divisions across 17 districts have been affected. In these areas, 4,008 individuals belonging to 1,158 families have been impacted, while 14 persons are still reported missing, according to the Centre.
