Eleven (11) persons have been reported dead due to adverse weather conditions experienced in the Badulla district, in the last 24 hours ending at 06.00 am today. According to the Badulla District Secretary, 07 persons are also reported missing during this period. The deaths are reported as a result of several landslides and rockfalls reported in multiple locations of the Badulla District due to inclement weather.
