An elephant calf has been reported dead in an accident in the Galgamuwa area this morning (09 Jan). According to reports, a lorry had collided with the elephant calf, resulting in its death. The accident is reported to have occurred at the Elephant Pass in the Ambanpola Kasikote area of Galgamuwa.
