Earthquake halts play in Bangladesh (Video)

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck near Bangladesh’s capital on Friday morning, briefly halting the Bangladesh-Ireland cricket match at Sher E Bangla National Stadium. ([Reuters][1]) The tremor occurred at approximately 10:38 a.m. local time with the epicentre located in the Madhabdi area of Narsingdi district, around 40 kilometres from Dhaka. The quake struck at a shallow depth of about 10 km.
