As per the latest situation report issued by the Disaster Management Centre (DMC), the death toll from the disaster situation triggered by Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka has risen to 618, while 209 people remain missing. Kandy district is the most affected, reporting 232 deaths and 81 missing persons. Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts follow, with 89 and 83 deaths respectively, while a combined total of 63 people are reported missing from the two districts.
