The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has launched an investigation into allegations that high-ranking former narcotics officers were involved in drug trafficking operations, including the transport of narcotics. Addressing the weekly Cabinet media briefing, Police Media Spokesperson ASP F.U. Wootler confirmed that the inquiry focuses on the former Director of the Police Narcotics Bureau.
