Thirty-nine (39) individuals from nine affected families in the Galle District have been moved to temporary shelters due to the adverse weather conditions experienced in the area. According to the Sri Lanka Army, the affected families are currently sheltered at the Sudarshanaramaya Temple in Piyadigama, Galle, which has been designated as a safety centre.
