Above 75 mm of rain expected in some areas today

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Northwestern, Northern and North Central provinces and in the Galle, Matara and Trincomalee districts today. According to the Department of Meteorology, fairly heavy falls above 75 mm are likely at some places in these areas.
