Sri Lanka’s postal service has recorded a significant turnaround in 2025, surpassing revenue targets set by the Treasury and marking what officials describe as a major revival after years of stagnation. Postmaster General Ruwan Sathkumara said the Department of Posts exceeded the revenue target assigned for 2025, generating income of Rs. 13.1 billion, above expectations set by the Treasury.
