ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee was quoted at 309.60/75 to the US dollar in the spot market Monday, broadly unchanged from 309.65/75 Friday, having depreciated in recent weeks, dealers said, while bond yields were lower on the short end. A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 was quoted at 9.68/75 percent. A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 was quoted at 9.95/10.00 percent. A bond maturing on 01.10.2032 was quoted at 10.30/35 percent, from 10.32/35 percent. A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 was quoted at 10.50/55 percent, from 10.45/60 percent.
