A fire broke out this morning (29) at a factory in the Wavulagala area of Horana that produces rubber‑based goods. Police said the cause of the blaze has not yet been identified. It is reported that the Horana Fire Brigade, together with local residents and factory workers, are engaged in efforts to bring the fire under control.
