Sri Lanka to compensate rice farmers above financial loss for pain of mind

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rice farmers will be compensated for their pain of mind beyond the actual financial loss suffered by them due to Cyclone Ditwah President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said. Sri Lanka tax payers would give 150,000 rupees per damaged hectare.
