The ASPI closed down 0.17 percent, or 37.12 points, at 22,292.57; while the S&P SL20 closed down 0.06 percent, or 3.90 points, at 6,066.43. Turnover was 2.3 billion rupees. Top positive contributors to the ASPI were John Keells Holdings (up 20 cents at 21.20 rupees), Ceylon Tobacco (up 27 rupees at 1,724), Pickme (up 4 rupees at 149.00), Bukit Darah (up 18.25 rupees at 1,030.25), and DFCC Bank (up 1 rupee at 147).
