A special cargo aircraft carrying 69,000 kilograms of disaster relief supplies worth 5 million euros from Germany and Luxembourg, both member states of the European Union, arrived at Katunayake International Airport early this morning (17). It is reported that the consignment includes tents, kitchen equipment for cooking, mats, and water purification units as part of the large relief package.
