An appreciation program for the humanitarian relief services carried out by the United Arab Emirates Disaster Relief Team, led by Dr. Hamoud Saeed Hareb Al Afari, comprising 74 members, was held in Negombo on Monday (15). Certificates of appreciation for their exemplary service, issued by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, were presented to the team by the Master General of Ordnance, Major General Sumedha Wijekoon, during the event.
