ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Speaker has issued a notice convening parliament on December 18 at 10.30 am on the instruction of Prime Minster Harini Amarasuriya. “I, Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, Speaker of Parliament do hereby notify that in pursuance of Standing Order 16 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, I have summoned the Parliament to meet on Thursday the 18th of December 2025 at 9.30 a.m. having been requested so to do by the Hon.
