Former Speaker of Parliament and National People’s Power (NPP) MP Ashoka Ranwala has been released on bail by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court, the Police Media Spokesperson said. Ranwala was produced before the court on Friday in connection with a road accident in the Sapugaskanda area, following which the magistrate ordered that he be granted bail.
