Sri Lanka’s tourism sector is showing strong signs of recovery and growth, with over 2.15 million tourist arrivals recorded from Jan. 1 to Dec. 8, 2025, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB). The sector’s revival comes after a series of significant setbacks, including the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the recent impact of Cyclone Ditwah.
