A group of 826 individuals from Matara arrived in Badulla yesterday (01), intending to rebuild the affected areas in the Badulla District due to Cyclone Ditwah. According to the Badulla District Secretariat, showing solidarity with the affected people, the group brought not only their labour but also essential machinery and tools for reconstruction, including: Backhoe Loaders Excavators Chainsaws Water Bowsers Cleaning equipment The relief team included members of the Red Star Organization, various volunteer groups, social activists, and media teams.
