Cyclone Ditwah kills 123 in Sri Lanka, 130 missing

ECONOMYNEXT – Cyclone Ditwah has killed 123 people and 130 are missing the Indian Ocean Island’s Disaster Management Centre said, as low lying areas near the coast are under flood alert as water flow down rivers. Telephone contact with some of the hardest hit hill country towns including Gampola, in the Kandy district, and some towns are out of telephone contact for days.
