All telecom operators in Sri Lanka have agreed to implement special emergency measures to support the public during the ongoing disaster situation, the Ministry of Digital Economy said. The agreement was arrived at during a special meeting convened by Deputy Minister Eranga Weeraratne with the participation of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), the Disaster Management Centre (DMC), the Tri Forces, telecom operators, and senior industry representatives.
