Sri Lanka rupee flat, bond yields steady

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee was quoted at 307.90/308.20 to the US dollar in the spot market Friday, weaker from 308.05/15 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields remained steady. A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 was quoted at 9.05/13 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2028 was quoted at 9.15/25 percent. A bond maturing on 15.06.2029 was quoted at 9.45/53 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 9.50/57 percent, up from 9.50/55 percent. A bond maturing on 15.10.2029 was quoted at 9.50/60 percent.
