Deputy Minister accused of harassing female journalist in Parliament – MP

Opposition MP Chamindranee Kiriella has alleged that a Deputy Minister had verbally harassed a female journalist in Parliament last week. Addressing the Parliament, MP Chamindranee Kiriella said she was present when the incident took place.  “I was by the side of the journalist when this incident took place. At the time, she faced serious harassment. She was emotionally affected due to this incident. I express my regret over the matter.
