Colombo: Pakistan warship departs, Indian warship arrives

The Pakistan Naval Ship PNS SAIF left Sri Lanka this morning (19), just a day after the Indian Naval Ship INS Sukanya arrived in Colombo, marking a rare overlap of port calls by the two neighbouring navies. PNS SAIF, a 123-metre frigate commanded by Captain Asfand Farhan Khan, concluded her replenishment visit after arriving on 18 November. The Sri Lanka Navy bade the vessel a customary farewell at the Port of Colombo, following naval traditions. During its stay, crew members toured several attractions in Colombo.
