The Embassy of France in Colombo says two French cable ships are to be built in Sri Lanka for the benefit of global connectivity. According to the French Embassy, Global cable ship owner Orange Marine has chosen Colombo Dockyard PLC to build the 2 new cable ships. The two new cable ships will renew the fleet capacity of the global French reference in the installation & maintenance of submarine cables, it added.
