The One-Day National Identity Card (NIC) Issuance Service was officially launched in the North Western Province yesterday, at the Department for Registration of Persons provincial office in Kurunegala. The service was launched under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Eranga Weeraratne, marking a significant step forward in improving public convenience.
