Sri Lanka rupee weaker, bond yields steady

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee opened at 304.45/55 to the US dollar in the spot market Monday from 304.35/45 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were steady. A bond maturing on 15.02.2028 was quoted at 9.00/07 percent. A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 was quoted at 9.15/17 percent, up from 9.12/17 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 9.55/60 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 was quoted at 9.57/62 percent. A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 was quoted at 9.75/76 percent.
