The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has announced that a nationwide trade union action will commence tomorrow (31), in protest against the arbitrary transfer procedure being implemented for doctors. The GMOA emphasized that if this transfer mechanism is enforced today (30), the responsibility for any disruptions in services at hospitals and healthcare institutions across the country must be borne by the authorities.
