A 21-year-old Canadian national has been arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake with a stock of hashish valued at over Rs. 180 million. According to reports, the suspect was apprehended by officers of the Customs Narcotics Control Division while attempting to smuggle the narcotics out through the airport’s Green Channel.
