A 57-year-old man has been reported dead after being shot by an air rifle by his father-in-law over a personal dispute in the Galenbindunuwewa area. Preliminary Police investigations reveal that an argument between the two men had escalated, resulting in the shooting last night. The victim, a resident of Ihalagala, had died after being admitted to the Galenbindunuwewa Hospital with serious injuries. The Galenbindunuwewa Police have launched a probe to arrest the suspect.
