Cabinet approval has been granted to conduct the ‘Sri Lankan Day’ national program on 12, 13, and 14 December 2025. Accordingly, the event will be held at the Colombo Town Hall grounds, Vihara Maha Devi Park, and adjoining roads, with the participation of the public and private sectors in four zones. The national programme was proposed in the Budget Speech 2025 by the President with the objective of creating a harmonious Sri Lanka by developing understanding among communities.
