The Police said that several tragic incidents, including road accidents and drownings, were reported across different parts of Sri Lanka on Wednesday (15). A 17-year-old girl from Kithulgala died following a collision between a motorcycle and an Army cab in the Warakapola area. The incident occurred along the Alawwa–Ambepussa Road, leaving three others injured. In Dickwella, a 51-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a bus carrying garment factory workers at Dewsirigama. The driver of the bus has been arrested. Meanwhile, in Dombagahawela, a 31-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a tipper truck at the Pahatharawa junction.…
