ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka energy firm WindForce PLC said it has acquired a 51 percent equity stake in Safe Power International (Pvt) Ltd for 535.5 million rupees to develop a 10 MW Wind Power Project in Alankuda, Puttalam. The estimated total project cost is 4.2 billion, WindForce said in a stock exchange filing. This will be financed through a debt-to-equity ratio of 75:25.
