A Gazette Extraordinary dated October 11, 2025, has been issued formalizing the ministerial changes announced on Friday (10). According to the Gazette, Minister Bimal Niroshan Rathnayake has been appointed as Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, while Minister Anura Karunathilaka has been named Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation. The Gazette also confirms the appointment of Susil Ranasingha as Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply.
