Former Minister Johnston Fernando has denied claims that Sampath Manamperi serves as one of his coordinating secretaries, stating that he is prepared to pursue legal action against those spreading false information. Fernando made the remarks during a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) event in Kurunegala, “Now they say that a person named Manamperi is one of my coordinating secretaries. Let me remind you that I appointed coordinating secretaries only from this district,” he said. Fernando said the claim was an attempt to discredit him.
