Power and Energy Minister Kumara Jayakodi today (04) declared open a 5-megawatt solar power plant in the Hiyare area of Galle. The project has been developed by PAP EGSS Solar Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Pan Asian Power PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading renewable energy companies. Speaking at the event, Minister Jayakodi said the government is committed to continuing renewable energy projects across the country without interruption.
