Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development Wasantha Samarasinghe visited New Delhi from 24–26 September, during which he participated in the World Food India 2025 summit. According to the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Minister Samarasinghe was accompanied by Secretary to the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development, K.A. Vimalenthirarajah.
