48 yr old woman found dead in a house in Baddegama

Police have launched an investigation into the suspicious death of a 48-year-old woman found inside her home at Mahaliyana Gewatta in Baddegama. Area residents informed police after noticing that the woman had not been seen for several days and that the lights in the house had been left on. Police officers discovered her body lying naked on the floor of the living room, with signs of bleeding. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Sandarawala, Baddegama.
