Police have arrested two women and thirty-three men during a special operation carried out by the Welikada Police yesterday. The suspects, all aged between 20 and 35, were taken into custody on New Jayawira Mawatha in Athul Kotte. According to police, the group was found in possession of several types of narcotics, including hashish, heroin, ice, tablets and cannabis. The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Officer-in-Charge of the Welikada Police, OIC Saman Jayasingha.
