A woman was killed after being electrocuted by an electric heater at her home in Rambukewela, within the Bokkawala Police Division, on Thursday night (Oct. 30), police said. The victim, aged 35, was a resident of the Rambukewela area in Mahanuwara. Preliminary investigations found that she had accidentally come into contact with the powered heater, resulting in her death. Bokkawala Police are conducting further investigations.
