A 34-year-old man has died after being shot in the A Quarters Ground area in Dehiwala this evening (06), Police said. According to police media, the victim sustained gunshot injuries and was rushed to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila, where he succumbed on admission. Investigators have launched a probe to identify the assailants and the motive behind the shooting. Police said further details will be released following initial inquiries.
