Police say a 21-year-old youth was reported dead in a tragic road accident that occurred around midday yesterday (25) on the A09 highway within the Chavakachcheri Police Division. According to the Police, the accident took place near the 304 km marker when a motorcycle travelling from Chavakachcheri toward Jaffna attempted to overtake a tipper truck and collided head-on with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
